    FLIR Night Vision

Thinking of getting this system installed on my boat. I'm wondering if anyone has first hand experience/knowledge of how "good" this product works... The demos look nice but we all know that is different than real life.

I know the FLIR system was updated within the last year, but will this show lobster pots and other small items and floating junk.

    Thx.

Yup, It works as advertised. Turns day into night unless it's raining or thick fog. Do not expect to go flying along and be able to see objects in your path in time to evade them. I find it works great for under 15kts and checking out the camel toes.
I think it should only be purchased if you already have everything else, it's a real novelty item. I still use it in conjunction with my searchlight.
