    Fishtails report 6/5/11

Fished 2 miles east of the tails today just over the edge on my friends boat, Judy B.
    Went 4 for 8 on yellowfin. 1- 50lbs, 2- 30lbs. and one small fish.
Water temp 68, few boats working same are were also getting similar results.

Just out of curiosity, was it sloppy? I wanted to go but ended up going off chatham instead. Couldn't get a good read on the forecast.

Nice work on the early tuna!

Friends that fished the Tails this weekend said they battled 5-7' seas on the overnight Saturday and it wasn't comfortable. They were in a 48' Viking and got no fish during the night. They did manage 14 yellows and a 58" BFT on the troll during the day.
