Had an excellent trip with the Jenny B and Captain Jerry out of CT last Thursday
Couple YFT on the nite bite and set up on the troll at 5:20AM trolling back up our chuck slick;
At 5:25AM a line goes off and we are on a nice fish, second shotgun gets hit same time and goes slack.
The fish is worked to the boat and as leaning over ready to stick a nice YFT, wrong.. a sweet lit up and chomping Hoo pops up. before we get a shot he does a backflip and sounds. Assume that's it as normally only going to get one good shot on a big Hoo with straight Fluro.
We pump him back up and stick a gaff in him and he's ours 80+ Hoo in the box- so sweet, what a beautiful looking fish in that clear water all lit up.
oh yes, the second line was bit clean off, lost a sweet Marlin Magic Teardrop and Bird.
the Hoo nailed a Marlin Magic Teardrop behind a small MM bird.

Set back up the 12 rod spread and for the next 3-4 hrs pretty much non stop action on the YFT from 20-50LBs, couple of fun 7-9 rod knockdown boating 7-9 on one run.


About 1/2 way thru the morning we get a big hit way back and a Blue Marlin takes off for the distance, provides a nice jump and blast and soon after gone. Would have been nice

We set up a Blue Marlin spread and do about 90 minutes with no action, pull up and run to the dock, fun trip, great conditions and great guys.

great job and thanx for sharing. Wondering where you got the green machine bar. I have a brand new one from Fishermans Outfitter that sux, wont swim at any speed or position. Must be out of balance or something, nothing that looks wrong with it?? Need to replace that with decent rig! Was gonna order 1 from Canyon Runner?? Yours obviously run pretty good !!! Thanx

FO has been making great bars for years also; I'm sure if you contacted them they would fix you up right in no time also.
