Outriggers.
You will quickly learn that there is nothing budget minded about tuna fishing. you dont need a center rigger, get the outriggers. and $19,000 of other related crap. And if you dont know how outriggers work I would highly suggest that you either take a tuna charter so that you can learn firsthand, or spend the day at MBG's seminar

Fred and Dan hit it dead on. You need outriggers. Dollar for dollar it is the best money to spent to up the odds of hooking up consistanly. Tuna trolling is about spread and sepperation and to do it right you need riggers.
You can and will catch without them but with them is better.
And Freds advice about a charter or a seminar is great advice.
get the gunnel mounted outriggers. affordable and will work just fine for what you intend to do.
I can't see the deck to see if you have a fuel bladder on the deck to get to George's Bank.
Like the guys said riggers if you intend to troll. Very tough to pull bars and get consistent results on the troll without them.
