OK we are getting down to the wire we have 41 probabilities from May 14th ( capt.Dan) to June 4th (brian) the most odds are on May 21st with 7 people agreeing.. The next popular day is May 28th with 5 fishermen working in harmony LOL. I think most of the people are thinking its going to happen on a Saturday? My theory is more people will be out Friday trying to beet the rush. Plus its easier to lie to the wife and tell her you are at work

For the benefit of KP161 and to clarify in case of a catch and release. A picture on the leader and a witness from a SFC member should suffice... But in the spirit of the first kill I will add another $50 gift certificate from OHO for the first fish hanging in the gallows .... As the rules have been stated in all of my contests... If you cheat you will be found out and then humiliated and bashed by a jury of your peers. Is it worth cheating for $100 in gift certificates? That kind of reputation will follow you for the rest of your life.

Amendments to the rules and prizes...

there will be three prizes if the first fish is catch and release and an added prize for first commercial fish by an SFC member.

1. Prize for best guess = $50 gift cert to OHO
2. Prize for first fish =$50 gift cert to OHO
3. Prize for first fish in the gallows if a catch and release has happened = $50 gift to OHO
4. Prize for first Market fish caught by a commercial SFC member if caught on Opening Day in the area described in the rules below. = $50 gift certificate to OHO.

It is that time of year again 6 or 7 weeks away to the first tuna in Mass Bay. Most of you know the rules but I will explain it again. Guess the Date/Time and location of the first tuna between Cape Ann and Highland light Including all of Mass Bay, Cape Cod Bay and the Gulf of Main east of this area.

The prizes will consist of a $50 Old Harbor Outfitters gift certificate for the closest guess and a $50 OHO gift certificate for the SFC member who catches the first fish. More prizes may be added by our sponsors.

Rules

1. You must be a member of Sportfishermen.com to qualify. And post your guess on this thread.

2. Fish must be caught inside the area described above.

3. A full report and picture of the fish must be posted on this thread.
