False Albacore for Giants???

Albies just about fight to their death on light tackle.
They might be better off used as chum?

They use skipjack and small yellofin and such kept in tuna tubes for big yellowfin and blue marlin down south all the time.

Don't see many albies north of Chatham. Might as well give them what's on their menu: bluefish.

I say yes that they would work just fine they eat everthing in there path to give you a couple examples

1.)my buddy caught a 600lb last week with 3 dogfish in the belly.
2.) my other buddy caught a 800lb with 5 small stripers in the belly.
3.) people catch them on pollack mackeral cod
4.) my buddy caught another giant and there was a harbor seal in his belly.
so my conclusion is that they will eat anything if there hungry
but like on the earlier post if you can find a live bait that there feeding on at the time that will be your best bet.

I've caught them on dogfish, bluefish, cod, mackeral, herring, hake, whiting and pollock, but never an alby. Good luck.
