Tyke. Talk to Capt Dom from Coastal Charters. He does the squid thing. He may be a good place to start..

I'd say by looking at the moon phase full is the 28th so Im gonna start 25/26th in newport unless this weather stays very warm you tend to get the biggest squid in the first wave that comes thru.....Dom is the guy ya wanna talk to he's all over the squid....at least he was last year...lol

Hey Tyke, if you need help filling a charter shoot me a pm. I never tried squidding and wouldn't mind giving it a shot. Either way keep us posted how you make out. Giggy

Hyannis - Last week in April, first two weeks in May. I think the last can leaving the harbor (#15?) any where in that area w/ sandy bottom 15-25ft of water --- Personally that is where I have had luck and they are thick.
Did a half day charter on a headboat a couple years ago and the LOW man had over 100!
Good Luck.
