    F*ck Noaa

A 25 knot W wind with a huge tide will not be 2-4...ever.

A 30 knot NNW wind with a huge tide will not be 3-5 .....ever.

When will be learn to stop rationalizing this nonsense with a seldom updated text forecast. We personally let a silly text forecast trump experience and common sense.

Stinky out there today?, I hear you with the NOAA BS forecasts! I do the same thing, look at it, look at it, know better, go anyway because i NEED to go FISHING for TUNA!!! get my ass handed to me and then say why did i go? It's not worth the risk, it's not fun, it's more like work! Next week will be better......!
My job goes in jeopardy next week with 2 ft seas! See you out there, "Simon Sez" standing by on 6-68!

So what you're saying is you went out today and got the snot kicked out of you? ;-D

I can't make out any of these forecasts. NOAA says one thing, Fishweather another, and Buoyweather something else. Lately, any forecast from anyone is completely useless until it's the night before, which for me, is way to late.

I'm holding out hope for Monday, which has looked good for days, and now the forecast is souring a bit. What was 2-3 with winds 5-10 kts has now become 10-15 with gusts to 20 and 2-4 foot seas. Recent track record tells me tomorrow I'll see 15-20, gusts to 25, and 4 - 6 foot seas.

    Frustrating as hell.

    the real question is...

I'll be out tomorrow through wednesday, maybe thursday if the forecasts hold. I cant take it anymore.

The Bay was a shitshow ... I usually fish out East and am used to big stuff but the stacked and tight 5-6 footers were no fun at all ... makes you wonder if inaccurate forecasting might have played a part in the tragedy off Ptown ...

Friday the forecast was 2-4. Race point was solid 10 feet with a huge current from the new moon. It absolutely played a part.

There was no fish friday or Saturday. There is a giant bite going on at wood end/pamet.

Headed out at 6am tomorrow. Forecast is back down to 2-3 feet. Just going to take what the wind and tide will give me as I work my way down to SEC and SWC.

    AZURA on 69.
