We came across a couple of surface feeds on our way back last weekend from West Atlantis, they were up and down pretty quickly. A few pods of dolphins but not much else in the way of life.

    south of the vineyard

Went out wednesday perfect weather, like a lake and started out at the Owl worked our way over to inside fingers to the claw then down to the dump. found porpoise and nothing much else to speak of. Saw one huge breach by I dont know what (1) tuna up on top and on the way home saw a large brownish shark that we almost ran over. every 15 minutes or so we'd pop a rigger and wind up with a monster bluefish. disapointing day

the way I looked at it we were half way to Atlantis and as flat as it was we could have justified a day trip

    Larry-
Yesterday we saw life along the eastern side of the Dump.
Birds, slicks, dolphins. Might be worth a sniff.

Thanks Pete - you gave me a clue to start w/ - I had been considering the SE corner based on previous year's early seasons experience.

Green water or starting to blue up?

It's green water. We saw some bait pods spraying accross the surface there too.

    Larry,

Try me on 66/68. Unless the weather goes in the basket, we were doing the same thing. We will probably go down to the 30 fathom line and then work it to the east.
