Up here in Boston there was just a lot of fog and drizzle... barely any wind. Deck of My boat was dry as of 10 AM.

Just as much wind now as there was during the storm... http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=44013

Still, rather have the forecaster err on the side of caution than to get smacked unprepared.

It was blowing at least 25-30 today on Jamestown Island. Took the wife up to look for beach glass and it was blowing like stink. The water was looking very un-boatable although I did see some nutty professors out there. Those boats were all over 40 ft. We saw a huge freighter in close to the island that had the Pilot boat come out to meet them. The freighter was getting moved around by the waves and the Pilot boat was getting tossed like a dinghy. I would guess the seas were an honest 6-8 if not more.

Only damage was caused the day before while backing the boat into the driveway. The branch knocked out the all-around light on a branch. Should have left it in the water!
