I have yet to be convinced that better cell reception east of Chatham is a good thing.

So we did run out to the regal sword. No cell reception out there. It was dead so we just turned around. Halfway back to crab ledge we found diving birds and finally found the tuna. Some fairly large fish. But they were picky. We trolled our bars right over them. I know the fish saw them. We casted Ron z's to them and even speed jigged. We got zero hits. Picky fish I guess. Oh well. We'll keep trying.

what a great post. loved the updates while i sat at my desk, thinking about the last time i fished the edge, waiting for the next time i do. looking forward to the next mid-trip updates. good stuff....

Left Pamet first thing, headed to Peaked Hill, saw a little bit of life, trolled down to the Golf Balls... nada. Whale breached about 60 yards off the boat, which is always fun to see. Trolled back up to PHB, then over to SEC, on to SWC. No life, very slow. Tried some ballyhoo on planers after we saw a few good marks around 60 with no luck. Slow day.
