I have a 30 foot Grady White Marlin listed for 33,900...the seller will probably accept around 31k...boat is LOADED...including custom tower platform on the hard top for spotting tuna. 50 hrs on new rebuilt 225 outboards. Boat is local...very nice shape and worth looking at if you like Grady's. Let me know. Id be more than happy to fill you in. 508-221-5136--Damon

I will look at that Marlin on line today. I actually fished a 30 Marlin in your Bluefin Tourn this past summer. Do you happen to know when Grady White changed the hull design on them?

    Thanks

25 Carolina Classic is the way to go if you want to down size.

25 Carolina Classic is the way to go if you want to down size. The 25 Carolina is a great fishing battle wagon, heavy deep V, well balanced, a great smooth ride and if you get caught up in big seas it's going to get you back to the dock with no worries. The 25 Carolina cruises at a good speed " in my opinion" 25knts at a low RPM cruise or 30 at a higher RPM "that's cruise" not toped out. I don't what that other post is talking about saying they are slow, I think cruising 25-30 is a fast cruising speed.
It all depends on what type of boat your looking for center console, cuddy cabin, are you going to trailer or keep it at a slip. The Carolina is on the heavy side and can be tough to trailer and needs a deep water ramp to launch.
I went from running a new 35 center console with trip Verados to a 25 Carolina Classic and I have never been happier. Good luck, any questions feel free to ask...

Ought to try out a Glacier bay on a crappy day. Some can't get past their looks but I'm a believer after a snotty 20-25sw trip out the cut in Madaket a few years back.

I know all about the Glacier Bay 26. I fish my friend Jays 26 Glacier Bay with tower out of Ryders Cove and he has been known to go out in some pretty snotty weather. Anyway decision has been made to hold off on the boat until next year and see how much I get out with friends this summer. I know I can fish on a 35 Cabo FB, 34 Pursuit and a 26 Glacier Bay on a regular basis so I think I am set for now.

    Thanks for the input though
