Donations??????

I was a little disappointed in the response for donations to some of our organizations who do a lot to help keep our jobs and our sport. As of Friday no one donated any money to these organizations. ABTA, RFA or others.

I know every issue that these groups represent do does not always represent your ideas. But they do represent the fishing industry and our fight against extreme environmental groups and unfounded regulations.

We can not fight our battles on SFC we need lawyers and scientists and government officials. This costs money and the only way these groups will get money other than their own pockets... Is from you $5 from 100 people is enough to help.

there should be a little coming from me any day. and if it was up to me i make it a law that if you sell a 73 inch fish you have to donate 100 bucks every fish or something like that

most dealers already take money from each fish for the abta plus most of the boats donate them selves , need away to get some from the rec side to help out to . to show how much money they spend on tuna fishing to .but very little money comes in to help fight for there right to tuna fish.

I think I made this same comment last year, but for anyone from the ABTA out there listening: if it is not cost-prohibitive, I'd bet you would get a higher donation rate if you provided the ability to donate via credit card online.

I am not a webmaster so I honestly don't know what that entails $-wise, but wanted to throw it out there.
