    Disco Toad Action

Headed out yesterday to shake the cobwebs out and see how we'd work the troll on the new Fired Up yesterday. We brought along the toad experiment from a couple of weeks ago to see what that would look like...thought some folks might like to see one of these in action. I hope you enjoy the vid, we had fun with it.

I've not pulled a fender (or a toad) but I'm surprised how that thing got down - I would have expected more splash. Thanks for the video...

The toad is a WINNER !!!, right out of the BOX! (pun intended) LOL. No R&D Needed! . Told you when I saw it it would work. Put that thing over the fish and you will be reinflating it ! I would like to know if you weighted the foward end ??.

Hey I almost forgot, Great video and tunes!!

Did you catch anything, or did that giant eyeball scare 'em all out of the spread?

Just kidding, the action looked pretty good

We will now refer to you as the "toadmeister"

The only thing that would have made that movie better is if I could have found my leisure suit and afro that I had in college...oho well

The toad was rigged on 130# test, and weighted in the nose with a 8oz and two 6oz eggs on doubled line (the 8 is in the center, thought I'm not sure this makes any difference, just the way I did it). With both engines in gear we move at a little over 6 mph, and with one we move at around 4 mph. You can see the difference in action as we took one engine out of gear. I hope that you all could see it allright- I tried to upload a larger file so that you can see the toad in detail, but it was too big and was over the 100mb limit. Believe me when I tell you that the thing looked unbelieveable in person. Now I'm not saying that everyone needs to go out and buy one, but if you have an extra fender laying around, it's worth trying.

    DD-
Unfortunately we were about 60 miles to the north of the action for the day, but it was just good to get out.

    Seeker-
You say the word and the Disco Toad will be in da house for the Cuttyhunk ..... or sooner...
