    Desperately needed to go fishing

So its sat and I wake up to calm winds on the bay and say WTF its suppose to be blowin 25. I get some stuff done and call Fred to tell him of the dilemma of calm winds on the bay. Run up to the boat and load her up and shoot out front for some macs to kill time till Fred shows up. All the tinkers you could want right out front of GH. Shoot back in at 12:00pm and Fred and I are off to the bank. Well the wind did pick up as forecasted and the ride out was 2-3 then 3-4 and finally 5-6 as we reach the bank.

First stop we are greeted with busting tuna in the slop and out goes the spread with no love for the next hour. Off to the next stop further east and tuna everywhere mixed in with the white water. No one else except a couple whale watch boats on the horizon. Spread goes out and we are tight to tuna number 1. 20 minutes later a 68" is released. So its still snotty out and its early so WTF lets put the spread back out. 2 explosions on the long riggers and nada. A few minutes later pop fish # 2 is on. 20 minutes later and a 71" fish is released.

Leaving the dock at noon for a relaxing day fishing in the slop all by ourselves - priceless.
