Day Trip Sat

Let's try this again. Looks like Saturday will be nice. Maybe the weather will cooperate..maybe my crew will show...maybe I can finally get to blue water this year. Anyone else making the run?

Brad

I am going to make a list of crew to invite before I go next time. If anybody here would like to be on it....please let me know. Thanks.

Niantic, CT - until Aug 15
Nantucket - till Aug 31

Oooh Oooh, pick me, pick me

Seriously though, if you ever need crew, hit me up, I'd love to get back out to the blue water.... I took Box's rigging class too, so maybe I can bring some secrets along

Good luck this weekend! It looks like that Eddy might just make it to the 100 fathom line...

I think it's only a couple of hours...I sit in that in Boston traffic every day, no big deal. I may have plans, so I'm checking on those... what are your plans for the trip?

I'm checking to make sure that my plans are solid, but I think they are. Love to do it any other time though...

Report - Zippo

Great day and a calm ocean for the 180 mile round trip, but NUTHIN! Water was the same putrid green all the way out to 500 fathoms South of the Tails. We did work a pod of whales at the tip, but that was the only life around. Marked decent bait real deep 400-500 feet. Temps consistent with no breaks 69.4-70. I spent a while looking for a break of colder water that was just East...now I see that water has moved towards the Middle Grounds. Spread looks good. Tried out Marty's G-Tek Teaser and that thing looks like a big fat baitball. Green sticker in the area had zilch too. Oh well, at least we got out. I'll try again this week.

Hey Brad: So you finally got to run the G-1! Think about two or four bars running in a pattern with it running down the middle! Talk about a bait ball!
