    Brad-

Thanks for the effort and the report. Let me know when you're in need of crew....my schedule is pretty flexible even for weekday trips. I live in Oxford, CT and I keep my boat at Spicers Marina in Noank, CT.

Here's my contact info....will be gald to share any intelligence with you as well. I have some friends in the commercial and charter fishing business.

Sorry about the skunk report. Been there once or twice LOL. Cap, do you know a boat named "Glue Me" (Cap Andy's 42 Henriques) down your way?

I was just thinking...I'm available (or can be) if anyone needs a crew depending on work and the usual stuff. I've been in pinches with no crew and went anyway (aka recon) only to get slammed by fish and ensuing gynastics in the cockpit. What do you guys think about a list of names, #s and/or email? I haven't really thought it thru. Just tossing it out there.

Appologies for hijacking the thread. The thought, although probably not original, occurred to me while reading it.

I do know Andy. His boat is right over in Port Niantic next door. I spoke to him before the trip to see if he was heading out. I think he is going next week.
Awesome idea chumtini...I actually just made myself a list of possible crew. I think I'll just have everyone logon here or send an e-mail out. Maybe we can get a few boats going at once and cover more territory...let's get some ideas on this.

Yep, that's Andy. He invited me on a canyon trip last October. Great trip! Nice ride!! We put together a vid of the trip. Crank up the volume.

We can troll 10-12 without a problem...but if there is only 2 or 3 of us...hookups are insane...a quality problem

    Chumtini-

    That's an awesome vid!!

A prospective crew list sounds like a great idea. I also need crew from time-to-time especially for those last minute weekday trips. We usually split expenses fuel, ice, bait, etc. Anyone interested can post up here or PM me.

    Brad -

I agree it's also nice to buddy up for trips as well. I'll e-mail you my VHF MMSI numbers.

The Maggie B is not the fastest in the fleet but she's a solid 20 knot boat and here's other details about her:

    1989 Ocean 44' SS
    Twin J&T 671-TI's
Fuel Burn 37-44 GPH (based upon conditions) (500 Gal Fuel)
Max Range = West Atlantis - Hudson (From/To Noank, CT)
    8-Man Solas Life raft
    2 EPRIBS
SSB, Sat Phone, 2-VHFs, XM Sat Weather, Radar, GPS, 2 bottom machines, etc.
Fish a Crew of 6 comfortably
    Fish 10-12 Rod Spread

My contact info is posted above, but here it is again....

Thats close to what we are trolling. We went 6 for 6 on longfin 2 years ago. I had 6 rods in the water. Thats the most hook ups we had at once.

Sounds like Chumtini is the smallest in the fleet But she's quick, nimble and versatile.

2001 24 Pursuit Center Console w/t twin HPDIs
    I can't burn 37 GPH WOT doing 50+ MPH
150 Gal Fuel with ave burn of 10-13 GPH @ 20-30 MPH
30 Gal fresh water with head
Range (From Falmouth) Fingers/Dump, Banana, E of BB-BC Buoy
(even farther on her trailer behind the suburban)
Raymarine Radar/sonar/gps, EPRIB, 2 VHFs, ChumCam(tm) and both kinds of radios AM *and* FM.
    Crew of 4
Troll 5-7 rods, not including "The Shrek" LOL

She's small and open, so I have to pick clear weather days. But she gets me out and back safely on the same day. We started doing camping trips - leave the night before, camp on the beach, BBQ, fish the rips, etc wake up with the seals and take off first thing.

If your in need of a hand/crew, give me a ring or email. If OK with my work and wife, I'll be there. I'll do the same. I'll post this on the original SFC Northeast "roll call" thread as well.
