Guys,

I am on the 9:15 slow ferry to Nantucket. We just passed a dead whale carcass floating westward. I don't have the lat/lon, but we were about an hour out. You can figure it from that.

Anyone running tonight needs to keep there eyes open. Hitting that in the dark could ruin your whole night. I know the weather isn't going to great tonight. But there are two tournaments going on....

Coast Guard Station Brant Point is broadcasting regular updates on its location. If you are monitoring Ch. 16 (as you should be), you will hear the updates every half-hour and should be able to avoid it (or find it if you want to catch a GW).

this am whale was just west of crab ledge. Trolled by it a couple of times. Friggin thing is huge!!!!

My brother saw a whale off chatham still alive with it's tail miissing a several days ago. It didn't look like it would make it to much longer. Shark??

Was that whale a small Humpy? He was just SW of the SWCorner 1 week ago, hes been around for a few weeks. Hope it ends soon for him, he's having a tough time as you can imagine.
