    Crimson Tide Oak Bluffs Report

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6 hrs sleep in 3 days and it finally over. I'm going to keep this one short and sweet.

1st day we ran out to be covered up by blue dogs and baby makos. The weather was sweet and the fishing was good just didn't get a good one.

2nd day was the complete opposite. The weather was typical 6 footers with an 8 thrown in to bounce eric head into the roof of akula from the top bunk. The fishing was slower than the 1st day for quantity of sharks.
I pointed the boat to our first spot and chum went over the side. We ended up with a few blue dogs and a small mako. At 11:00am and some chum calculations I decided to run to another spot as it wasn't happening where we were. Shortly after the chum went out we ended releasing a nice little 5' mako. Then it happened (bottom of the ninth) with 15 minutes left in the tourney we hook up. Shortly later a 180lb mako is gaffed and brought back for the dinner table.

I want to say the crew busted their balls to help out as Fred was feeling a little under the weather.Ironically he did wake up just in time for the last mako. The guys were preping chum, rigging live baits and fishing their asses off. A huge thanks again To Eric "Skid Marks", Chris "HC Tankis", Donny "Nightcrawler", Adam "The Jew" and Joey "Butt Sex".

Chris, that hook must have hurt but that haywire twist is looking great.

    they are all good
I bet the tag they stuck in you hurt more. Good thing you didn't make minimum weight. It could have been ugly for you with that crew.

I hear you on the sleep. 4 nights on the boat. I'm beat. Good time had by all. Now if the house would just stop rocken....
