    Criminal DUI

So, is there ever a safe time to be driving on the road?

I guess not. Below are pics of my 09 Silverado that's 7 months old.....and the pic of the 00 Subaru that sideswiped me last week.

I'm driving along at noon time on a perfect sunny day.....and this car crosses the line and whales me into a 180 degree spin at about 50 mph

I get an ambulance ride to the ER on a backboard and neckbrace~ xrays & all~

Good news- I will be ok & will fish another tuna season
Bad news- My Silverado's fate is not so certain....still waiting to hear about the damage estimates

And, finally, the police have charged the other driver with criminal OUI/ DUI~ (wh/ means he blew over a 1.50% or its a 2nd/3rd offense.

Are you ever safe on the roads these days?

    ~Rich

It is just a truck, Rich. You and yours are healthy. That is what matters.

Glad you're OK DD...word of advise. Document every little thing, take pictures, be present during the appraisal, get every contact name, phone number, email ect....and keep a log....

Short story is I was hit head on New Years Eve by a guy who lost control. He knew "The Heat" and was not cited. I am now having to take my own insurance company to court as they won't fix the vehicle 100% due to an absolutely shitty job by the woman who appraised the vehicle.... and missed things like a smashed windshield, broken mirror, broken running lights and on and on....

Again, I'm glad you're OK as any vehicle can be replaced. Oh and the color of your truck reminds me of BFT blood
