Hardtail, do I know you at all? I see you are from the rock.

Overall an epic year in the canyons, shipping lanes, and east! Hope the wahoo migration occurs again next year...
ohhhh yea... there there were them makos also.....
Nice pics Mark!
Man the seas look greasy calm in that mahi photo.
Man, the winter sucks.
What week in August was that? At the dump?
The yft were all over the canyons. But if I recall, the warm water pelagics pushed on on the flats in the middle of Aug following a finger of warm water
By the third week in Aug, things really got rolling when that that hot finger of water smashed against the cold water spilling over Nantucket Shoal.
By now, the word was out and the water was pushing north.
We were fishing 8-10 miles S of MV in acres of breaking halfbeaks and sbft, yft, skj and more albies than I could count. The halfbeaks were so thick they illuminated the phosphorescence all night long. Pretty cool, considering we could see the lights from MV.
I think there was a storm that came thru during that time that mixed things up S of MV. I don't know for sure. By then, we were headed for an incredible break between Atlantis and Veatch. Now THAT was some incredible fishing!
