Cod Frenzy

I know everyone is Tuna Crazy at this time of year (rightfully so as I am also addicted) but the cod fishing on Stellwagen is still out of this world.

My guests on Saturday limited out on cod and played catch and release for the remainder of the trip eventhough we did a 20 mile tour of my favorite fishing spots.

I second that report.

I had a groundfish trip yesterday, and it was lights-out cod fishing. Nothing huge, but plenty of mid-teens fish. All on jigs and teasers.
