cod fishing this weekend

Anyone cod fishing this weekend. i am looking to get out just do not want to fish with walshes. anyone with ideas???????

Save your money an don't go. I went out on the Helen-H on Sunday and only got 8 keepers and the fishing was on the slow side. Then I went out on Thursday on the Fortuna out of Scituate. There were five of us and we only caught 20 keepers and the fishing was slow. I was thing of going squid fishing on Sat night on the Francis Fleet out of R.I. The report is that the squid are around southern R.I.
I just went to the Helen-H web site and they are not doing any more cod trip in May.

8 keeper cod isn't a bad day considering the limit is only 10 per day north of the cape.

yea i am not going to go im going to hit up the casino saterday night. im fishing the walshes next friday on a charter then the next week the sunbeam starts to sail and i can fish when ever i want!

UCONN.. How is Greg on the Fortuna doing?? Is he a member of this site??... I skied for him in highschool, he's a great guy... I can't imagine that if the fishing was slow he had a problem keeping the charter entertained.

New moon has made fishing slow by next weekend things should pick up again.
