cod fishing report RI

Last Thursday fished on the Fransis Fleet out of RI, consistant action but the majority of the fish were short, I could tell you that we killed them but not the case, honest report, anyone else been out ?????????

When I checked their website, they claimed everyone caught decent fish, some shorts, fishing was pretty good?? I appreciate an honest report over an exaggerated one regardless of the results ! Was thinking of jumping on if the weather looked decent in the near future.

I fished on New Years day and pulled eight keepers in the box.

The Francis fleet have a tendency to over exaggerate their reports.
I use to fish them years ago, but .......... personal experience with them not good!!!!
I fish the 7Bs now, and think it is a better PB to fish on.

We went on the Island Current Fri, we're done with FF. Froze our a$$ off in 15-25 degrees, should've waited for a 30 degree day. Lot of fish, mostly shorts but we did pretty well.
