    Coastal charters tuna report

The last few days have been insane, with multiple fish hooked each trip. Sundays crew managed to get tied into 2 nice tuna, but unfortunately couldn't get one to stay hooked up and broke both off at the leader connection to the braid.(time to go to wind-ons guys) yesterday I had Age and JJ who managed to bag a nice 71.5 inch fish on a tattoo sea dog, our only love for the day but considering the slop and the long run to find them a great day anyways. JJ bagged his first bft on spin and will be back for more with a rod better suited to his 6'11" frame.

Today's trip was off the wall, filled with tuna mayhem, a 2 for 4 day on big tuna, a sloppy ride back up into a dead beat, and a glassy ride back in after watching the stick guys work while snacking on sashimi. Full spectrum trip with nutty feeds, birds hooked left and right with clean releases on all, including a double hookup on a shearwater and a gannet. The life was insane, and at a few points the whole boat just watched in awe without a single move made to cast. All 3 guys hooked a tuna cleanly and got a good fight on these fish, couldn't ask for a better day. Forgot my cable so no pics for now, but will be sure to add em tommorrow evening.

Yesterday was a bust, ran long and hard to find em, and we did, but my guys werent fortunate enough to get any love. The striper fishing was off the wall though, one of the best striper feeds I have ever seen.
