    Coastal Charters tuna report

Been a good week, Thursday started it off with 2 tagged releases on 63" and 70" fish, Saturday saw good action on topwaters, Tattoos tackle Sea Dogs and RonZ getting hammered by reckless 63-64" cookie cutters. Sunday was fun day with the crowds and the shots were non existent but the striped bite was nothing short of Blue Planet status with 15-35 pound fish on every cast with ridiculously light spinning gear 8-12 pound test.

Today was a great day, first pod of fish I set up on we tripled up on 75-80 inch class fish on the spinners! Thankfully 2 pulled hooks and 1 stayed tight. An hour and 10 minutes later I buttonholed the and only trophy of the year at 79" and lean. Huge sushi party at the dock, and a ton of fresh fish going back to NY! Not at a computer but maybe Somebody could help me out...

Been on the hunt 7 of last 8 days and the bait is staggering with more and more tuna of all sizes showing up with every tide. Good luck out there guys.
