    cleaning my 130s

    time to clean my reels i heard permaLube is the best and to put it on everything on the inside but not the drag.. what is the best for the drag and what else will i need for oils

    Corrosion X as a lubricant and inhibitor on internals. If you leave bearings open, then use there as well, otherwise pack bearings with light grease and replace covers.

    I am a big fan of Cal's Drag grease on carbon fiber drags. Shimano drag grease is another option.

    I second the corrosion X. They make a thin and thick formula. use thick for the inside.

    been using cals drag grease for a while now, nice stuff.. yama lube grease for internal gears, bearings, main shaft etc...
    check out a master at the game 'alan tanni`s' posts.. great guy and very informative if ya get in a jam
