Do they mean they only want circle hooks with live bait or circle hooks period?

Live or dead bait. And I think they want to ban yo-yoing as well.

I believe yo-yoing is already against the regs? When they started examining bass and finding batteries, lead and through wire in their stomachs I thought they said no more. I am prob wrong but ithought that was already a no no

Pretty soon we won't be able to cut down a tree in our own back yard without a permit. Are they finding dead bass belly hooked? Just wondering why they would go to the trouble of having a meeting over this.

I attended the Tues night meeting. aprox 25 attendees. I'd say 90% of speakers were against making circle hook "manditory" . I think the enforcement nightmare that would follow this rule was a main concern. Nobody said circle hooks are bad, only that making them Manditory is just not good.

Anyone here attend Wed's meeting on South shore?
