8/4/10 It's been very windy the last day or two and the few people that have made it out are
reporting good fishing. East of Chatham is still the place to be for fish that probably average about
34 inches!. Your best bet in these deep waters are jigs. You can use diamond jigs, butterfly jigs
and even buck tails. Bounce them on or near the bottom or if you're marking them at mid water.
There have been a couple of tuna taken at the BC can. Footballs are still between 2 and 6
miles off Chatham inlet to Nauset inlet.
Monomoy point is another great spot if you want to avoid the big crowds.
