Have been doing very well on the morning tide. Lots of Stripers going threw the Canal all weekend, it was on fire!
The smallest was 28" and the biggest 44" with many, many in between.

Fished the radar tower from the Cape side from 3 am to 8am on Saturday morning. Didn't see one fish caught. Insanely slow. Lost a sebile swimmer ($25) and then I lost a sebile shad ($30). The sebile shad was 10 feet from the shore so I waded out in my shorts to retrieve it. While walking down the rocks in bare feet slipped and fell. Cut both legs and my toes. Got the f*cking lure back. Fished in soaking wet clothes for another hour. Coughing like a madman today.
F*ck the canal.
Every virgin bleeds a bit on the canal, either from the rocks or the wallet. In your case sounds like both. Stay away from the expensive lures in your case while fishing the big ditch.Try some 9in rubber shads, realitively inexpesive.
Once you loose your v card on the the canal then bring out your expensive lures, but be aware everybody who fishes the ditch gets a bad fuc##in once and awhile, rookie virgins and hardened
canal rats!!!
Canalking.
HOw much for the 19 cc
Is this the Cape Codder with the doghouse that was down at Millway Marine?
