    Left Newport at 1115am on Sat headed for the tails area. After a bit of a sporty ride out we had lines in at 330 without a touch. We drifted and got a 135-145 lb Mako at 345am and then trolled up 3 YFT from 20-55lbs. overall slow but a beautiful day on Sunday.

    small bft on the way down sunday, a handful of small yft and a couple chicken mahi, nothing at night. lots of shark sightings. danced with whitey for a little bit. had big blue crush a mahi and spool a 25. great fun, better crew! safe and sound. time to repair relationship with she who must be obeyed.
