spent very little time on flats at west atlantis, sat evening. we were west of the west atlantis wall in 450-480 ft, 74 degree water. big yellowfin, we went 1 for 3. only boated the smallest fish and it was in the 80 lb class. nice fish. it was too rough for us, so we came home. but we marked a lot of fish there. if we were able to spend time there, i am sure we could have found more. also there were lots of mahi at the one pot we found.

fish were biting, but it just wasnt fun, so we came home.

Thanks, that sounds pretty good. Sucks about the weather; I was supposed to be out there Sat/sun. The trip didn't materialize, and maybe that was a good thing!, BTW

Sorry for late post. There are plenty of fish in Atlantis. East side on Saturday. West side on Sunday. Not much to show for the night bite but we were rolling in 5-6 foot seas all night long. Tough staying vertical. We missed the weather window by a day. Should have made the trip Sunday/Monday instead. Worthwhile going if you are going to make the trip.
