Cant Fish,Docks not in yet, Need some help.

Hi everyone.
Another weekend has gone by without boating. I have only been in once this year and I will be going tomarrow. Main problem I am running into is my towns boat ramp has yet to put in the docks.

Since I do most of my boating with the company of my 6yo son, I need docks to be able to launch and retreave. Now I am going out from an area I am not familiar, and unsure of good fishing areas.

I have called the Sumerset Highway Dept who is in charge of putting them in the water and was told," They are very low on my priority list. Maybe in the next few weeks if I get around to it"

Anyone have ideas to be ableto light a fire under this guys butt and get him moveing?
