    Boston Harbor striper report

Hello everyone, I noticed nobody is posting a striper report for Boston Harbor, so here goes nuthin. This week there have been lots of surface feeding bass on small herring and mackerel, plenty of birds to get your attention. The action is good morning and evening regardless of tide, although I like the outgoing, the schools are mixed from 22"-32". Small silver jigs, poppers and rubber shad will get bites. The action outside has been slow, some bigger fish have been under birds in the outer harbor entrance. The inner harbor is LOADED with bait.
Comments are appreciated as this is my first report. Thanks

i second this report. fish and birds all over. i'm using 10lb test, #20-#30 floro leader and a variety of metal and plastics. the fish are feeding hard, as every fish we caught caughed up tons of bait. the whole bait they caughed up was ~4". got caught in that rain storm the other night...loved the guy with the red umbrella. funny stuff. what surprised me the most were the guys trolling through all those boats. crazy imo. may head out tonight.

    LOL

I'll be out there tomorrow and Thursday nights. Will report back.

Good to see some striper info instead of Tuna all the time....for the cheap seats!

    Any pogie info? Wollaston?

Pogies are thin everywhere, they are around but you have to work for them. I have netted some this year, haven't seen a school on top or any "flipping" at all, just marking them on my sounder.
