Got out this morning with my good friend Steve B. Loaded up with giant killies at 6AM and filled the livewell for a morning of Fluking inside the bay in Hamptons, NY
Great day bending rods as we had over 50 Fluke to the boat, most going 17-20 Inches which were all released.
Steve jokingly said that he was starting to feel like an electrician...'too many shorts' LOL
Few drifts later...BAM....fish on and rod doubled over...after a few latteral runs and one final dive...we boated this beauty......6.58LBS on the scale at Oaklands Marina. Fish took a live killie on 1 1/2 OZ Glow Spro Bucktail...
Great morning on the water! Thanks Steve!
We have availability for a full charter/open boat inshore combo fluke/bass on Saturday afternoon from 3PM- 8PM if anyone would like to get out just give me a holla.
Next week I am looking for a weather window to hit the canyons for a day troll for Yellow Fin Tuna...Perhaps next Wednesday or Thursday...Again....if anyone is interested let me know on that too.
We are out of Hampton Bays, NY. @ www.oaklandsrestaurant.com
Thanks and tight lines! Have a safe and happy 4th!
