Most of the row is heading out Brian. All 5 boats. Should be a great forecast and hopefully we all do well. Awaiting a satellite shot friday night to get a game plan...Rippy was walking circles around the boat today he was so excited.

Skipjack is up and running; fueled and ready to go tomorrow at 8. A lot of credit to the team at Macdougalls who turned a Monday 8 AM crisis into a pretty fast and successful Wed AM repair and test run. Fishing Friday after a Sunday disaster is a heck of a service effort.
Brian - I always can identify those 100 yard back fish by the thread I post on. Too bad it turned into a rat yellowfin when it came to the boat.
This is the big eye fisherman bite thread and the big eye fisherman bite vendors are cleaning up.
I keep waiting for the V shaped water rake or the Juicy Tomato bar to make an appearance![]()
LoL, you guys are funny.."the water rake"
see the baby bigeye the sniper caught?
I can recall 3 "different" yellowfin of which I have 1 picture from 2003
These were taken in 70 or 80 fathom in ~ 73-4 degree blue water in late August. The top one is a yellowfin; what is the bottom one?
Bluefin or bigeye?

Looks like Get Reel is looking to join the party. We were going to do a day trip but the nice weather window just stretched it to an overnighter. Not sure if i will be aboard but the rest of the crew will be. Most likely going to be someplace between Atlantis and Veatch, Hydro is way out on the outside out of Get Reels range. Looks like a Nice weather window. Now we just need a good sat shot.
If i dont make this one GL all.
