My pleasure Animal. Always nice to put a face to the name. Not to mention having someone onboard that knows how to work the pit. It wasn't the biggest fish. But it's a fish, not a skunk. Curious, what's your first impression of the infamous Chatham Cut?

And since you asked, plus the fact that Columbia gave me the shirt, I might as well give 'em a plug. Columbia's BNG shirts are the berries. If your not familiar with BNG, it stands for Blood-N-Guts. And, that shirt has seen it's share of blood...and guts. And, it still looks good. How's that for a plug

Now that's a "fish story" shoe.

We were 10 N of Skipjack and looking at the same thing. A line of gannets diving along the 120' curve. Data point.

Groups of shearwaters sitting, slurping and waiting for the fish to push the sandeels up. Data point.

It was a classic setup! Animal's fish hit one of Stew's black bird bars up top, but not the bally's. Data point.

Backman's hit the bally down deep. Data point.

Small fish up top and smarter bigger fish under?

Check out the shearwaters. The true great tuna fishmen. Look familiar LB? And that was 10 miles away. Data point.

Congrats to the cap and crew of Skipjack. Nicely done! That's one hell of a season closer. But it ain't over yet
