    best ramp for Dump?

I'm gearing up to make my first nearshore mahi run and need some ramp/access help. I'm trailering from NH so I can hit either Fallmouth, New Bedford or Westport river ramps just the same. (Are there others I should consider?).

Looking to hear your advice for the ramp with the best/easiest/closest access to Dump area. May need to park overnight or for two days. Traffic getting to and from the ramp ramp also a consideration.

Going to ramps sight unseen in the dark is not my favorite activity! Thanks a mil for your help.

Either NB or Westport has a direct run S; Falmouth gives you the challenges of bridge traffic on the way home.

Hope you have plenty of fuel; those mahi are far shore right now.

Point Judith RI will put you about 20 mi. +/- from the Mudhole. Good ramp plenty of parking etc.

I spend alot of time in westport, great launch and no problems overnighting it, my buddies boat is at Trips Marina and for dock to the NW corner of the dump is 47.34 miles... Point Judith is much further at 47.67

thanks guys, a little solid intel goes a long way to smooth out the suprises - helps keep my knickers from getting needlessly bunched. Think I'll try Westport since it is way, way closer.

I am anxiously watching the SST for the magical swirl!

There are rocks just out of the channel markers at the ramp itself in Westport so don't cut the corners. Pt Judith covers more productive water on the way without excessive extra distance. With Commecial Bass underway those days will have a full lot as well fwiw
