Out on the Cape, our charter Capt flew both the Boston Big Game and the SFE. The SFE was able to handle the higher winds and was MUCH more stable! Both were nice, but the SFE seemed to handle the winds better.

BBG kites are very easy to use but lack in distance away from the boat. With the typical fall pattern of wind I think the power sled is the way to go. The power sled gives you better lift and scope while fishing.

For what it's worth, the Boston Big Game kite is a power sled 14 kite.

Looks very similiar, good to know. People might get the wrong idea with the rainbow theme though, not that there's anything wrong with that.

The one in the middle picture is the power sled 24, which is the next size up. The bottom one is the 14. It's about half the price of the BBG kite and you also get 500 feet of 90 lb kite line with it.

Is there any rigid parts in the 14?? Looks like it would be easy to stow and deploy on the boat.
