    That looks nice! Did you use wood around the top? I was always told to use blue but, i was thinking blue being dark would heat up quicker on a long summer day. Compared to white? How are you stopping the water from back flowing out of the fill hose? Oneway vavle? I was going to put two holes in mine one towards the top and the other 3/4 of the way down from the top and have them connected with the incoming water attached to the top fill hole with a drop down to the lower fill hole. Put One or two out flow hoses at the top.

    I agree, oval is best.
    I'll also add water temp is just as important as shape.
    Plumb intake near bottom, drains towards top, keeps changing water.
    I run a Rule 17A pump.

    Yes, plywood with epoxy bracing. We'll see about the color. Will have one drain near top to a true hull above the scupper
