    Below West Atlantis

We had a very good trip fishing the break below west atlantis. We landed many tunas. a fair number of smaller YFT as well as 5-6 larger fish including one which weighed 100 lbs (The core was 79 lbs when I sold it). We came back with at least 20 YFT in the box and two decent mahis. In my opinion the fishing is slow but if you stick with your plan you probably will have good results. We worked one general area for over 24 hours once we found fish and were able to pull some good fish. Other boats came to the same area and eventually left.

More details on the video we put up on You tube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WYqRFjOlJA

    Good luck & tight lines.

    Congrats Presto

We heard you guys on the radio at one point, congrats on your great catch. We fished the break btw. block and w. atlantis on the Rowdy Dow out of Harwhich, we got 15- 18 YFT mostly small keeper and rats, the largest was 35 lbs, too many skippies to count and we doubled up on bigeyes on the morning troll. We went one for two on the eyeballs and the fish was 64 inches and fat maybe 180 - 200lbs. Pics and a full report to follow but the boys on the Rowdy Dow / Motivator flat out get it done, thanks again for including me guys, I owe you.

Nice!! I loved the video......can't wait to get out there. When you say below W. Atlantis, do you mean South of, as in out in the deep? Or toward the Tales, where the break is?

Anyhoo, thanks for the great report!!!

I had two friends fishing two different boats that filled up the boats east of the tails on Sat, they said the fishing was incredible... Yellowfin ranged from 20 to 70 pounds and not one bite at night....

Nice job on the eye boys!!!!! We fished the break between W.Atlantis and the tails on the Big Daddy. Arrived At 8 pm and boated 6 or 7 yellows mostly rats with the biggest being maybe 40 pounds. We set up for swords and ended up with a 100 pound yellow and a shark that chewed through our leader. The Morning troll was slow we went 1-2 on yellows with one 50 pounder. Ended the day with 15 small mahi on the way home.

Our location was south offshore. We were in the deep at the break. I am not going again for a couple weeks and hope my trip will help you catch fish. I go again in two weeks and hope for some good intel further east.
