bc bouy today

Went east today, second trip of the year. What can I say, it sucked. Big time. The fog never lifted so it made life really difficult spotting birds and whales. Visability was less than quarter of a mile all day. Every now and then we would hear a whale or two and we did manage to see a couple.
We trolled all morning with no luck, only one attack from a large bass. Changed to a slug go bird bar and after two mins in the water it gets a 100lb ish fish blast right though it and miss everything! Nothing else all day apart from one drop with a butterfly jig that produced the ugliest fish I have ever seen. No idea what it was but pics will follow. Hopefully someone will know what it is?
