Monday 5/3: A report from Matt Roth of Beast
Capt. Matt Roth and Doc Mike Verde followed schools of bait and fish from 65ft to 85ft and then to 97ft outside of Breezy point on Saturday. Jigging and plugging for 27 fish to 36 inches. Found some of the most aggressive fish of the day on the way home in 65ft - smashing topwater plugs around the weed lines...excellent day!

Saturday 5/1: Tommy, Alberto, Ronnie, & Hal of White Rose - Tommy and crew trolled spoons at the Rockaway reef. They grabbed 4 bass up to 15.0 lbs. and 3 bluefish.




Monday 5/3: A report from Joey Leggio of Chasin' Tail
Went out after the weather cleared today to try and get a few Bass for Squiddy and his Landlord Jerry. Ocean was still turned up but the bait was all over the place but deep. Trolled through massive bunker schools with no hits. Then found a big school of cocktail Blues and caught all you wanted on poppers and swimmers.. Pretty sad that the Bluefish saved the day.. I am sure the front shut the Bass down.. Joey Leggio


Sunday 5/2: A report from manny paradiso of GOT' UM
Fished yesterday with Judy, Chris, and Tom Felice, we hit the bass and blues early in the AM.We had fish up to 20lbs on bay park parachutes and bunker. After this we hit the flounder hole limited out on flounder took the big board in Bay Park for largest flounder all fish were caught on Bay Park sandworms and clam chum. Awesome day on the water!

Great day on the water with East Rockaway Mike and Surfer Joe boating many bass on Bay Park Clams. Fish to 15 pounds.


Saturday 5/1: A report from Surfer Joe & E-Rock Mike of Hannah Grey
Joe and Mike pulled 2 bass up to 15.0 lbs. off the rockaway reef using clams. They were in 40 feet of water.


Saturday 5/1: A report from Junior, Alex, Jan, & James of Fish Tracker
Junior and crew trolled bunker spoons today east of the Roundhouse. they decked 2 bluefish and 2 stripers. The largest bass of the day was 21.6 lbs. and the most productive spoon was white.


Saturday 5/1: A report from Lloyd, Larry, Dave, and Crew of Nansea 2
Lloyd and crew trolled spoons off atlantic beach and nailed several bass, the 3 largest being 12.85 lbs., 14.75lbs., and 17.25lbs. They also boated ling using clams.


Saturday 5/1: A report from Tom D'Angelo of Expeditor
Fished on the Expeditor today with Chip and Patrick. Caught 5 Bass Kept 3 to 33". Straightened out the hook on a jig, never saw the fish but of course it was over 50 lbs. Great day.
