Barbara has always been an advocate for tuna fisherman and I think she will have our backs if it comes to a fight to keep fishing. She says how the United States and Canada have the fishery under control but the European countries are depleting the stocks. Too bad they can't get their #$@% together and manage their fishery before they try to shut everyone down!

Educated people have influence on many subjects neither one of these people have educated themselves to save fishermen. They both are on the side of the fish. When Peta or any other one sided organization needs data to show overfishing or habitat destruction they point to these people. (speaking in general not pointing the finger at any one scientist )

My Point: We need scientists who are contracted to the fishing industry to prove that Bluefin and other species are rebounding in our waters. Does ABTA have a scientist working for them? Do any other fishing organization have scientists working for them? Is there any scientists who work directly for fishing organizations? We need "Educated" scientists working directly for and representing us on the AP. We need to volunteer are own resources for these scientists to use to prove their point. We need to ban together with the western Atlantic Canadian fishermen to gather the best resources. We need to get Japan out of the Atlantic quota. Japan does not even have borders in the Atlantic who cares about historic use of the fisheries. Do we let them farm for rice in our country? No we sell them most of their rice!!!! If Japan was out of the Atlantic Quota they would have to pay the Med fishermen more money causing them to be more agreeable with quota. Like cigarettes make it cost them a lot to buy and people will cut down.

oK I have vented enough I hope the wind dies down going scouting this afternoon I got a full week of charters ahead with all the cancellations this week. I will let you know what I find.
