    Bank Info?

I'm heading out to the bank on Saturday. Recognizing for a moment that the weather has been shitty, have people been out there recently? I was going to troll splash bars, just so I could move around instead of drifting with live bait but am looking for some intel on what and where they have been hitting - if anything at all. Probably head to old BE buoy and head up to double L. I would appreciate any suggestions or information. Thanks

I also have a lot invested in the bank! First sight of it in 1980 in my memory was boats as far as the eye could see. Many fabulous memories. Simpler time. Hand lines. Cable leaders. Many hook ups for a novice. Get started for a few bucks!

Splash bars should work fine. I would start at the old BE and troll south around to the south eastern tip of the bank. If that doesn't have any signs try Peakod hill. The smaller fish (50-60") class really moved in after this storm that just came through so that size should eat those splash bars up. Just work the southern edge of the bank and you will run into them. Good luck.

Sometimes you make deposits at the bank, sometimes you make withdrawals...

I may be out tomorrow. If so, I'll post what I see/catch.

went out yesterday and started at BE and worked our way down to SW Corner. We marked a ton on the fish finder and then at 8:15 while trolling splash bars the reel goes off. Finally a small one for the dinner table! 52". The fish are out there and I didn't even have to go to the bank...
