Bad Weather

How should a period of bad weather affect plans to fish south of the Vineyard? For example, with the winds and thunderstorms moving through tonight into Monday, If you had the opportunity, would you venture out on Wednesday when there seems to be a weather window (at least as of now) or would you consider it a waste of time and fuel after a blow and wait for conditions to calm down? The season is short enough already, but the price of gas also has to be a consideration. Thanks for an opinion.

If we were getting a Big Nor Easter, I'd wait till things settled, but I would think you'd be fine for this wed with this system moving thru...

Ugh, i kow how you feel, i only have mondays off and i was really looking forward to tomorrow, and last monday too. I wont feel so bad taking wed. off now, Thanks for the post,and lighting a fire under me to take a day off! We all work too much anyhow!!
