Must be the soundqueen workout we had heard so much about....

    Congrats

You guys are on fire right now, yellows and a bigeye on poppers one week, and these two slob eyeballs the next week. Congrats Would you mind sharing the water temperature that you caught the eyeballs in? Thanks, my dad is out there right now and I will post a report when he calls me later this evening.

The yellows were in 71-72 degree water 600-800 feet depth. The eyeballs were 74-75 degree water 900+ feet depth. We were in warmer water looking for the marlin when we found the eyeballs.

    Thanks

Thanks for that kieth, I appreciate it. My dad and crew fished Atlantis yesterday and got 2 yellows and a handful of mahi. They said it was a slow day and only got those two bites from the YFT. They worked their way west from Atlantis in 74 - 75 degree water.

That water pushed way north. When I was down there two days ago the 71-72 was in 700 feet and now its up on the shelf. I think that the tuna are hanging in 71-72, in which case your father may have been a bit further south than the bite. But heck last year 2 nice yellows was a pretty good trip!
