Fairly certain I know the guy your talking about with the halibut, I fish with him often.
Saw the pictures that was a sweet fish

I wish that fish went 150 pounds, this one was more like 1.50 pounds. It was nice to release that little guy and see him shoot for home. It would be awesome to see an atlantic halibut fishery return.
