I too am on Thurs watch. I started prepping the boat yesterday AM by changing fuel filters and gaskets which turned into a full fledged teardown of one which was dirty and rusty at the casing.

One engine would not prime afterward which led to 8 hr's of work going back and forth between the boat and Calder/Compton "On Marine Diesels". The marina confirmed my hypothesis - turned out I had a failing diaphragm in one of my fuel pumps which had been giving some funky at the dock symptoms all season.

Better at the dock than on throttle up or down 100 miles out!

always an overnighter - the day trips only make sense when I believe the pelagics are up to the Lanes.
