*Anyone gets a glimpse of joy north of Stellwagen?

We got caught up in that snotty W wind today- and couldn't get out past O-Scantum

Saw Fintan's 'Big Bitch' setting up his shark slick @ 7am- hope he found some action

We were in the wind too a little further east. Put the anchor in and got some cod and haddock (filled the box the week before). Hung a bluefish rack on the back and had two blues in the slick in no time - one right at the swim platform. No sign of tuna but a lot of guys trying.

We were out at the cove on Saturday- bait, whales, great marks, but no fish for us. We were trolling though, so that's no big surprise

Chunkers have been doing well though. Ground fishing was decent on the ledge around 1st island.

Yea I got couple buddy's w/ boats but IM semi retired so I have 7 days a week to fish wich is what I'd be doing weather permitting

Ah yes the dreaded work! I've been trying to avoid it as much as posible ( I've made a long weekend almost every week since June) and I'm taking this Friday off and will be tuna fishing. i even seem to be getting along better with the wife. It must be less time together. Scotty
